We took a back seat for the Air Display this year, literally! This years display was a little different to normal as unfortunately a number of aircraft weren’t able to participate due to technical problems with their aircraft. To top it off the headline act, the Red Arrows, were also unable to make it due to technical problems with two of their planes which meant they didn’t have enough planes to complete the formation and display over the Guernsey coastline.
If you have viewed any of other projects we have been involved with, we really do go the extra mile for our clients, and this project was no different. We reached out to some of the pilots ahead of this years display to secure footage from the air to benefit our video showcase that we were commissioned to provide, this year being the third year we have been involved. Co-ordination with BBC Guernsey ensured the commentary from Claire Cathcart was captured and helped to illustrate the great display, the pilots who were able to attend put on, for the crowd that lined the St. Peter Port seafront. Watch the video summary we produced below and cross our fingers for better luck next year.
