The live streaming of events online is becoming quite commonplace when scanning social networks, and this isn’t just isolated to Guernsey but from around all the world. From breaking news stories that grab the nations attention to the streaming of your dog walk of an evening, livestreaming is now possible from your mobile phone, and has literally put the ability to access a realtime worldwide audience in the palm of your hand.

As you may have seen late last month we helped Cystic Fibrosis Guernsey broadcast their meeting with Keith Brownlee to the masses and this evening was very similar. The Guernsey Disability Alliance (GDA) were holding a special meeting at Les Cotils and wanted to ensure as many people as possible could watch it. As a result they turned their attention to livestreaming where they could potentially reach more members via their Facebook Page. We were pleased that they turned to us for help as we have significant experience in livestreaming as we have been delivering custom branded livestreams streams for nearly a year now.

Custom lower thirds, a 720p picture and a reliable one and a half hour presentation was broadcast over their Facebook page, allowing them to reach more members and potentially spread the word about the GDA even further. Since the stream was completed only a few hours ago it has reach over 1,000 different people who previously may not have known about the GDA and the work that they deliver here in the Bailiwick. Multiple radio microphones were utilised to capture the speeches from the three individuals that presented alongside the numerous questions that were posed at the end.

We were in and out of the venue in just over three hours and were able to minimise the amount of time they required our services by being well prepared, as our experience has taught us in this new emerging industry, but we were able to maximise their exposure for a fraction of the price we know it can be obtained elsewhere. We pride ourselves on being able to deliver a reliable, efficient and productive service at a very competitive rate and would welcome a discussion with anyone who is looking to pursing a video production or even a livestream for their business, charity or cause that they are promoting.
