Did you watch that viral video featuring Jackie Weaver and the Handforth Council zoom meeting online? Depending on where you watched it, the video has accumulated millions of views from observers from all over the world. We were invited along to provide video coverage of the event which Women in Public Life (WIPL) had organised at the Princess Royal Centre for Performing Arts, which featured the internet star herself, Jackie Weaver.

The event was divided into two sections with a discussion taking place between Jackie and Shelaine Green, Chair of Women in Public Life. It was covered with four cameras and we benefited from connecting to the in-house audio system already present in the venue. Integration of music, videos and images displayed in their presentation within the video coverage of the event were all part and parcel of our services. The first draft of the video lasting 90 minutes was supplied to the client within 24 hours of the event taking place, and it went live shortly after that.

Selecting between the four different camera angles in post offered us the maximum creative opportunities to offer the best event coverage possible. We worked alongside the WIPL team to assist with their launch in January 2020, and are very pleased with the growth and success they have achieved to date, aiming to inspire and support the women of Guernsey to stand for public office. We will continue to support the local group of volunteers who continue to support women islandwide regardless of their political viewpoint and we will continue to follow their progress with great interest as they head into their third year of establishment.
