Earlier this summer I was tasked with creating something bespoke, something different and something that had to stand out. I was approached by a talented cocktail waitress who works for a well known cocktail bar and grill who wanted to enter a handmade cocktail into a competition. The competition was open to entries from all over the world, so we had to create something that you couldn’t buy off the shelf so to speak.

Filming was completed in just over an hour and a half with the waitress and a few extras being required on set. I set out to¬†edit it and provide the final version immediately as the competition deadline was only a few days away. I created a bespoke look and feel for the video that replicated the character of the drink that was ‘shaken’ and not ‘stirred’ in the short film. The video highlights the recipe being passed down a generation and bringing joy, dancing and laughter to anyone who is lucky enough to sample it.

We wish Luiza, the cocktail star in the video, the best of luck with the competition & even if it doesn’t win, you can be sure that her talents as a cocktail waitress will continue to be recognised all over the world. Only last week did she return from the sunny isle of Ibiza! Alright for some eh! I have offered to follow her on her next trip if she ever needs to document it!
