There is nothing like a last minute phone call on Friday afternoon enquiring about filming and photographing an event taking place that coming weekend. Did we manage to fit it in? Of course we did! The Rangers Summer Sevens Tournament is in it’s third year and welcomed 900 young players to Memorial Field where volunteers, coaches and parents from Rangers Football Club were ready to extend a warm welcome to all the players and guests from other Guernsey football teams.

A number of teams from the UK and Jersey visited our beautiful island of Guernsey for the competition which began on Friday evening with the Ladies game. This was followed by the U8, U10, U12, U14 + Ladies & Girls games on the Saturday with the U7, U9, U11, U13 & U15 games played on Sunday alongside some walking football which was played on Sunday morning at KGV Memorial Playing Fields.

We were able to dedicate a few hours each day to capturing some of the action from the various games being played. We managed to grab a few interviews with a number of coaches from the visiting teams alongside snapping the team photos which are commonplace at these events.

A quick turnaround was offered serving them their personalised video within only a few days of the competition taking place and the 100+ photos were also supplied on memory stick days after. We used a new motion-fx plugin that we have at our disposal in conjunction with a new piece of titling software, to hopefully give the video the look it deserves. Decide what you think for yourself!
