We were invited by the States of Guernsey to livestream one of their latest public consultations, on this occasion it was seeking the views on the long awaited disability discrimination legislation. We streamed the event live from the Performing Arts Centre with a three camera setup, live switching between the different angles to complement the event. The client’s platform of choice was Facebook which limited the final quality of the stream to 720p. Our equipment ensured a rock solid stream throughout the 90 minute broadcast which included questions from the audience after the presentation had been made.

Our multi camera livestream system, which we have fine tuned over the last 3 years, ensured that the broadcast was available online for all to see without any interruptions or breaks in coverage. We load balance our broadcast across multiple network connections to ensure the livestream is rock solid and coverage online never drops out. Unlike other local broadcasters boasting similar services we take the time to meticulously prepare and fine tune each element of the stream to ensure the client gets the service they signed up to receive and doesn’t get let down at the last minute.

The stream itself can be viewed below, complete with lower thirds, presentation embedded directly into the stream as well as multiple audio feeds being patched through from the venue’s in house PA system. Streaming sports fixtures is where the majority of experience lies, however our equipment it suited to streaming just about anything. Got an idea for a livestream? Get in touch!
