We were honoured to be invited back to the Princess Royal Centre for Performing Arts (PRCPA) last week to provide video production support to the organisers of the Women in Public Life event ‘It doesn’t have to be this way’ with Jennifer Nadel.
We have worked alongside Shelaine and her team at WIPL since the inception of Guernsey Women in Public Life and are very supportive of their endeavours to inspire and support local women to stand for public office in Guernsey. The event at PRCPA was well attended and builds upon the event held last year with Jackie Weaver, for which we also provided video production support. This year they enjoyed the company of Jennifer Nadel, Co-Founder of Compassion in Politics, as well as a number of local dignitaries who joined in a panel discussion which took place after Jenny’s keynote speech.
We deployed a four camera setup within the venue to ensure every angle was covered. We worked alongside the venue closely in the lead up to and during the event to ensure the audio reproduction from their house microphones was perfect. We linked into their in-house projector to ensure we received a copy of the projected content at the event synced to our master timecode of all the other cameras used within the venue. An overnight export enabled the client to cherry pick their five key moments first thing the following morning, which we then cut from the main event video for them to distribute on social media in the days following the event. The full recording has now been subtitled and is ready to be viewed online and has been embedded below for your convenience.
