Last week we were invited along to witness 16 round of full filled boxing action at then King George V Memorial Playing Fields. The King of the Ring event was organised by C L Fitness where we witnessed 16 white-collar boxers enter the ring for 6 minutes of non-stop action. We were lucky enough to be invited along to capture all the action, and we brought along multiple cameras to ensure we didn’t miss a moment.

The entrance music to each fighter certainly got our blood pumping for the following bouts. They were 6 minutes each, consisting of three two minute rounds, but were over in a flash. But with 16 different fights to film we had more than enough footage to create a short little social media promotional video of the event which you can see below. The event also provided an opportunity to record each individual fight which then would be offered up to each of the fighters afterwards who wanted a keepsake of their exploits in the ring.

We have filmed boxing before, as highlighted in our Guernsey Girls’ Can video back in the day, but this was a much more formal affair with one or two heart in mouth moments. I will let you decide which ones they were after watching the video below. If you competed on the night and want a copy of your entire fight – get in touch.
