We love working with organisations and groups in the third sector here in Guernsey, and none more so than the latest client to be added to our list,  being the Ron Short Centre. The group, that support people with physical disabilities here in Guernsey, were hosting an accessible activities afternoon where they aimed to profile their new internet cafe and had accessible cake for everyone.

We began the discussion a few weeks ago with Rob Harnish, their newly appointed manager, who had a plethora of photographs and video footage from some of their most well received events that they wanted pulled together into a video presentation. From reviewing the hundreds of photos and video clips they supplied us with, we agree that they really do offer a wide range of activities for the users of their facilities here in Guernsey.

We edited the video with their Centre goals in mind, and included various messages on screen to help summarise their offering to the Guernsey community. The Ron Short Centre exists to:

  • Engage and enable,
  • Encourage and educate,
  • Empower and employ people

They are open to you, are you open to them? Check out their video below which summarises lots of the activities that they have to offer.
