Guernsey Mobility Let’s Go

The team at Guernsey Mobility Let’s Go have been meeting for some time at their home weekly meeting point of Beau Sejour Leisure Centre. They are a small activity group that meet up once a week to play activities like softball tennis, bowling, catch discus and football. They welcome people of any age and any ability and you don’t have to be in a wheelchair to take part. They recommend that if you have specific needs and a carer normally accompanies you, you should welcome them along to support you.

Their activities take place on Tuesdays from 1-2pm. They normally meet in the foyer of Beau Sejour from 12.45pm and move to one of the halls at 1pm. More recently they have teamed up with St. Martins Primary School to offer a wider variety of activities and support to the members of the group that take part. We were invited along to one of the sessions last month to capture on camera the fun and laughter that was enjoyed by everybody. They are a very welcoming group and are always on the look out for volunteers to help them on a weekly basis, and if any sponsors are interested in supporting them on a longer term basis I’m sure they would love to hear from you.
