The Guernsey Community Foundation was established 10 years ago, and at their annual charity celebration, the Guernsey Community Awards, they celebrated the work they had achieved over the past decade. To celebrate the occasion they commissioned us to produce a series of videos focusing on the organisations and charities they have helped to establish and run since the Foundation’s inception.

Work began back in August filming with Guernsey Mind, and then over the following months filming was conducted at Le Rondin School, Carers Guernsey, Edible Guernsey, Bright Beginnings, Liberate, Creative Learning in Prison & Guernsey Employment Trust. We went the extra mile as we also managed to film a virtual interview with Jo & Andy Priaulx from the Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation, as they were currently supporting their son Seb complete his motor racing commitments in the US.

Whilst each of the interviews conducted contributed to part of a 10 minute compilation video, which premiered last week at the Guernsey Community Awards 2020, each of the organisations we visited have their own shorter profile video which will be shared and made public in the coming weeks following the awards. We were super proud to see the compilation premiered at the event earlier this week, and to see the response which it obtained from the 250+ strong audience gathered at St. James Concert Hall.

Whilst the Community Awards are in place to recognise the charitable work and giving by Islanders, we hope that our video production skills have gone some way in helping, not only to showcase the great work taking place within the Bailiwick, but hopefully to give the Foundation a well earned pat on the back for the great work they have done here in the community over the past decade.
