The nomination period for the Guernsey Community Awards is now open. You have until Friday 10th September to cast your vote in one of the seven award categories. The categories this year include Charity of the Year, Outstanding Individual Achievement, Organising Committee of the Year, Fundraising Team of the Year, Corporate Social Responsibility Award, Innovation Award & Youth Award.

We have a great working relationship with the Community Foundation, who have been organising the awards for over a decade now and we have been present at the awards since 2014. This year they wanted to do something different and aimed to boost the awareness of the nomination period opening up. Their new Chairman, Sir Richard Collas, was more than happy to share his thoughts on camera why you should nominate a person or charity for an award this year. The interview at King George V Playing Fields was complimented by footage from the last few years’ awards ceremonies, obtained from our comprehensive video archive.

A fast paced graphical animated introduction to the video and animated closing slides completed the promotional video we were commissed to produce which now features on social media. You can nominate now by visiting their website here.
