We continue to support the third sector here in Guernsey as each of them fights the continued battle for funding in a market that is becoming increasingly congested with applications and requests for money. Many charities rely upon grants from trusts, foundations and organisations such as Children in Need, but one that many companies rely upon here in the Bailiwick this year called ‘Millionaire Maker’ otherwise known as the Channel Islands Christmas Lottery.

Every year the Association of Guernsey Charities receives a plethora of funding applications for projects across charities supporting all areas of the community. To help stimulate sales this year the organisers got in contact as they were in need of a few promotional videos to help show how the money that is raised by the lottery supports causes close to many islanders hearts. They decided they wanted to focus on the work delivered by the Guernsey Voluntary Service at the Jubilee Day Centre as well as Grow Ltd. The weather was kind to us on the days that we completed the filming which enabled us to best profile the work that they do.

We were really pleased with the finished product, which was a thought echoed by the commissioning organisation in charge of the lottery who invited our Director to employ his video production skills to help boost sales. Interested in hearing how the money you helped raise by buying Christmas Lottery tickets from last year was spent? You can watch one of the videos that we produced below.
