The work of the Guernsey Disability Alliance has been close to our hearts for the last few years as we have been alongside them through the best and the worst of times. Services delivered to the charity have included video production, multi-camera livestreaming, digital marketing, social media management and photography. The latest project we were invited to support them with was the coverage of their latest CAE Access course on offer to local professionals with an interest in building design and accessibility.
The brief was simple, capture the classroom and physical workshops being delivered on the course on film and with a stills camera, and to supply them with a selection of material enabling them to promote the next course taking place in the new year. We were treated to filming in the newly redeveloped La Vallette facilities on the seafront, where the theory and majority of the practical sessions took place. The editing of the photographs took place after our filming with them over the two days and enabled them to be posted instantly on social media, capitalising on interest that had built up around the course that week.
The explicit brief we were supplied with dictated the shots and content we obtained whilst visiting the two locations where the course was being delivered. That wish list helped inform how the end product was to look and feel and what the end call to action included, which sped up the time in which the client received the finished promotional film. A selection of the photos we delivered to the client can be seen below. You can expect to see the video we produced for them go live sometime in the new year.
