Supporters of Autism Guernsey will put on their dancing shoes this evening to help raise money for the charity that is dedicated to enriching the lives of people with autism and their families. They are an independent charity set up in 2012 to assist people on the autism spectrum. They aim to ensure those with autism are able to lead full, positive and inclusive lives and enjoy a reasonable degree of independence.

We were contracted to provide our video services a few weeks ago and we heard from a number of people who have benefitted from their knowledge and expertise, which included both adults and children. It was no surprise to hear that tickets for their event sold out within 90 seconds! Their charity receives no statutory financial backing so all funds that are raised on the night go towards work carried out in Guernsey.

The event, entitled ‘Dia de los Muertos’, known as ‘The Day of the Dead’ is a Mexican holiday that focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died, and help support their spiritual journey. The event organisers assure us that the function will use influences from traditional Mexican fiestas and Dia de los Muertos carnivals for the decor, entertainment, food and drink.  The guests are sure to be in for a visual feast and we are sure will be talked about for all the right reasons!

If you lucky enough to have a ticket to the event tonight we hope you enjoy our short video presentation.
