We were pleased to have worked with Carers Guernsey just before Christmas to film and photograph an event they had organised. Carers Guernsey want a society that respects, values and supports carers. Their mission is to make life better for carers in a number of ways. One of those is to provide carers with emotional and practical support and that was perfectly exemplified by the event we attended. The event included an intimate interview with Pat Wisher, a lady who is keen to share her experiences of caring for her late husband who had dementia. The audience who attended the event were able to hear Pat reflect on some of the day to day challenges she faced and what lessons she learnt along the way.
Using a multiple camera and microphone setup at the venue we were able to capture every angle of the interview that was conducted by Alysa Martel, the Manager of the Charity looking to make the lives better for carers. Not only did we film the short discussion but we utilised our new mirrorless mk 3 version of the Sony A7 camera to capture stills they could use on social media and keep on file for future promotions.
