The ‘All of me’ art exhibition was recently on show in the former HMV building. It was a partnership between Guernsey Mind, who as you probably know we have been working alongside for a good few years now, and Tiffany Matthews, a local artist. It focused on body image and self perception with a view to encouraging greater mental health across the Island.

During lockdown Pete, whilst on his rounds, composed a number of spoken word poems, some of which have already received considerable attention on his Facebook page. The incredibly talented postman joined us in front of the lens, within the exhibition area in the former HMV building, for a pre-recording of his latest spoken word poem ahead of the VIP opening of the exhibition the following day. Obviously we were behind the camera, and then completed the post production video editing and closed captioning required to ensure it was made available for the charity to publish to their social media channels first thing on Saturday when the exhibition opened to the general public.

The short two and a half minute poem was delivered impeccably to the camera which, at the time of writing (Tuesday 10th November), had reached close to 10k people obtaining over 5,000 views. There are one or two pieces of artwork left to purchase which are available to view on request, with 10% from each sale going towards Guernsey Mind.
