We have been invited to film a number of presentations recently, and last week we were invited to hear the talk from Beryl Dennet Stannard, a Honorary Life Member at Allied Air Forces Memorial & Yorkshire Air Museum, who delivered a thought provoking presentation within the Digital Greenhouse. This was the first time we had been commissioned to film a talk on this subject matter and in the venue itself, the Digital Greenhouse, who’s HQ is in Market Square. The presentation focused on Mental Wellbeing & Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

It was an event put on free to the Guernsey public by Guernsey Mind, who, only the week before launched their Stop Male Suicide (SMS) campaign. A multi camera setup was used to capture the presentation and a wireless lavelier microphone was utilised to enable Beryl to complete her eloquent delivery whilst not being restricted to a lecturn or fixed presentation point.

The organisers were keen to make the presentation available to a wider audience, so when we were asked whether it was in our skill set, we happily obliged. Coupled with the dual camera angles we had to choose from when completing the edit, we incorporated the digital presentation, which illustrated Beryl’s story enabling those unable to attend in person to follow the talk as if they were there.

If you have a presentation that you require filming and are keen to ensure it is seen by a wider audience don’t hesitate to get in touch.
