The Ray Lowe Sporting Foundation annual team golf day is an event we always look forward to. It’s the one time a year we get to snap a good old game of golf all in the name of charity, in this case, the Ray Lowe Sporting Foundation.

This year we were greeted with lovely warm weather in which to capture the action across the 18 holes. We used our Sony A7III for the job of capturing all of the photos and videos used to help showcase the event. Our camera bag for the event included three of our trusted G-Master lenses, including our 100-400mm which we used predominantly as it enabled us to keep our distance and so not to disrupt the competition, 24-700mm lens and 16-35mm lens used for those beautiful wide panoramic shots of the course at L’ancresse.

We have photographed the event for the past few years now and wanted to diversify our offering this year so shot video of the competition also. The trustees of the Foundation were super happy with their fundraising efforts as they increased the total funds available in the Foundation to improve the sporting opportunities available to young people here in Guernsey by £6,000. They personally wrote to us post event to thank us for our hard work, and their message read ‘It is lovely to be able to have such great memories of a super day’s golf played out in perfect weather conditions. The event was a great success and, with your help, the fundraising total exceeded £6,000 which was a tremendous result.’ You can watch our short video roundup below – enjoy the album of photos on their  website.
