It isn’t very often we get to film anything remotely musical, but whilst filming at the Guernsey Community Awards earlier this month we enjoyed hearing the sublime vocal and acoustic performance of Kiya Ashton, a young up and coming star to recently be profiled on BBC Introducing. As we were at the event, our microphones were in place and our cameras were already rolling we decided to profile her performance.
Kiya wasn’t aware that we filmed the performance let alone produced it for her as a gesture of good will. She was overjoyed to have received it and now promotes it on her website and associated social media channels. You can view the short film we produced of her performance below.
